Frequently Asked Questions

What qualifies as a private event?
Private events are for groups of 20 or more and include reserved space, catering, and beverage packages. Our Events Team coordinates everything from setup to cleanup.
What's the capacity for private events?
We accommodate groups from 2 to 300 guests. Intimate dinners work in our private dining room. Larger groups can take over multiple spaces including courts, bar areas, and social spaces. We'll recommend the best setup for your group size.
How far in advance should I book?
Private events can be booked up to two weeks before the requested date with a non-refundable deposit (amount varies by event size) that applies to your final balance. Final headcount and menu selections are due seven days before your event. Peak dates book 2-3 months ahead, so submit your request early.
Do we have to rent courts?
Not at all. Many groups just want our private dining and social spaces. Courts are optional add-ons with optional upgrades. If your group wants activity, we highly recommend them.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. Our kitchen handles vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, and other restrictions. Just let us know during planning and we'll create a menu that works for everyone.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation policies vary by event size and date proximity. Typically: 60+ days out = full refund minus deposit; 30-60 days = 50% refund; under 30 days = no refund. Rescheduling is often possible with advance notice. Full policy in your event agreement.
Can you help organize a tournament?
Absolutely. Our staff can run bracketing, scorekeeping, court scheduling, and awards ceremonies for pickleball or padel tournaments. We've hosted company tournaments, charity fundraisers, and competitive leagues. We'll make it professional and fun.
What A/V equipment is available?
All event spaces include house sound system, wireless microphones, and screens for presentations. We can accommodate slideshows, videos, speeches, DJ setups, and live music. Tech support available for an additional fee if you need hands-on help.
Can we bring in outside vendors or entertainment?
Only approved vendors are allowed, such as DJs, photographers, or decorators. No outside food or beverage vendors. Coordinate all vendor details with your event coordinator.
Do you offer alcohol packages?
Yes. Options include: hosted bar (we charge per drink), open bar (unlimited drinks for set time), beer & wine only, or cash bar. Your coordinator will walk through pricing and recommend the best fit for your group and budget.
What's included in setup and cleanup?
We handle all table/chair setup, décor placement (if we're providing), food service, bar service, and post-event cleanup. You bring your guests and any personal items; we do the rest.
Can guests arrive early for setup?
Guests may set up 30 minutes prior to the event start time. Spaces must be cleaned after use to avoid additional cleaning fees.
Can we bring our own cake?
Yes, but The Courthouse is not responsible for storage or refrigeration.
Can we tour the space before booking?
Absolutely. Schedule a site visit with our events team through our private event request form or call us to set up a tour.
